All 5 cottages are
built during 2009/2010. They are tastefully
furnished and fully equipped with WC, shower and kitchen. There is a
veranda on the front side of the cottage, perfect for dining
or enjoying the surrounding peace and tranquillity. For maintenance purposes, all cottages are
painted in cooperas. (ferric sulphate)
Cottages 1-4 have a living space of approximately 25m2
and a veranda of 12m2. The
cottages are of so-called "expanding house" type, which
means that they are possible to expand with two more
bedrooms. Cottage 5 is already fully expanded and has a
living space of 45 m2 + a 12 m2 veranda. Look for more
information under Cottage 5.
All cottages are close to the
water and the Treens Natur&Fiskecamp site
is nearby. In the Fredros area you can also find the
Fredros
Gård site, which can provide information about the different
activities as well as help out with the renting and guiding.
About Fredros
Fredros is a small
village in the western side of the county of Värmland. It is
beautifully situated between the lakes of Mangen and Treen
which is renowned for their
excellent fishing (perch, pike, trout and salmon). From here
the famous Finnskogen, a vast of forest, lakes and hills,
full of wildlife such as elk and beaver,
stretches northwards. This pleasant area is suitable for
walking, canoeing, boating and swimming.
During the winter months
the
area is ideal for cross-country skiing with prepared tracks
passing close to the cabins.
There are also several down-hill ski slopes with lifts which
can be reached by car within 30 minutes.
Traditional ice-fishing is also available with transport to
the lakes by snow-mobile via Fredros Gård.
